Kate Middleton To Raid Queen Elizabeth's "Exquisite" Jewels for Australia Tour

With just about a month to go until the tour of Australia and New Zealand, Kate Middleton can at least check one item off her packing list: Jewelry. And that's thanks to none other than Her Majesty, grandmother-in-law Queen Elizabeth II.

"Although Kate won't be wearing tiaras on the tour, the Queen has given Kate total access to her private jewel collection so she can wear some exquisite pieces," a source tells Us Weekl
The Duchess of Cambridge is expected to have more than 30 outfit changes for the three-week trip, which means we can expect some amazing bling to accessorize her looks. "She has been allowed to pick out as many items as she needs," the source tells Us. "She's working with a wardrobe coordinator to put together her outfits."
While no details on which clothing designers Middleton will bring down have surfaced, she will be wearing a mix of store-bought and custom pieces. "A number of outfits she's wearing on the tour are off-the-rack pieces, however they're being tailored to her body shape," the source says. "The Queen's dress maker, Angela Kelly, and her team have been involved in a lot of the wardrobe prep."

The Antipodean tour begins in New Zealand on April 7 and then, on April 16, Kate, Prince William, and babyPrince George will move on to Australia. All in all, they'll have 48 engagements including a white water ride in Queenstown and a yacht race in Auckland Harbour, New Zealand.

London (United Kingdom)  - The late Princess Diana leaked a royal phone directory to the now defunct News of the World tabloid, its former royal editor told Britain's phone-hacking trial on Thursday.

"She was going through a very, very difficult time. She told me she wanted me to see the scale of her husband's staff and household, compared with others," Goodman told London's Old Bailey, where he is on trial.Clive Goodman said that Diana sent him the information by post in 1992, the year she separated from her husband Prince Charles, the heir to the throne.
"She felt she was being swamped by people close to his household. She was looking for an ally to take him on -- to show there were forces that would rage against him."
Goodman is on trial for two counts of conspiring to commit misconduct in a public office, namely paying public officials for a royal phone directory, which he denies.
The 56-year-old was jailed in 2007 for hacking into the phones of members of the royal household, along with private investigator Glenn Mulcaire.
Goodman told the court that he used so-called Green Books and internal telephone directories containing contact numbers for royal staff and senior members of the household as a basis for his stories.
Asked by his defence lawyer how he received them, he denied paying for them and said one green book was given to him in 1992 by Diana.
"That arrived at my office in Wapping with my name on it. She had a (good) relationship with several journalists -- Richard Kay at the Daily Mail, Martin Bashir of Panorama," Goodman told the court.
Three years later in 1995 Diana would open up to Bashir, a journalist with the BBC, about the state of her marriage to Charles, in an explosive interview that ultimately led to their divorce the following year.
Diana, the mother of Princes William and Harry, was killed in a car crash in Paris in 1997.
Goodman was sacked from the News of the World after his conviction and it later emerged that the practice of phone hacking was widespread at the Rupert Murdoch-owned tabloid.
Murdoch shut down the Sunday paper in July 2011 after reports that one of the hacking victims was a missing schoolgirl, Milly Dowler, who was later found murdered.

Kate Middleton Has a New Mystery Nanny for Prince George

We've known for some time now that Kate Middleton and Prince William were on the lookout for a new nanny for Prince George. They have been receiving babysitting help from 71-year-old Jessie Webb-who helped take care of William when he was younger-but Webb's stay was always meant to be temporary. And now it would appear that the Craigslist ad Kate posted has garnered at least one acceptable response, as a new nanny has reportedly been hired.

In the press briefing on Sunday outlining the itinerary and logistics for Kate, William, and George's upcoming trip to Australia and New Zealand, the couple's secretary-who may not have realized he would be inadvertently breaking news with this catalogue-listed the names of those who would be traveling in the royal party (a personal assistant, a hairdresser, etc.), before concluding, "A new addition to the party is, of course, Prince George's nanny." (If this had taken place in America, no doubt seven TMZ cameramen would have accosted this press secretary in a parking lot until he spilled details on the nanny.)
As it stands now, though, we don't really know much about her (or him!) at all. The Daily Beast reports that, while the identity of the nanny remains unknown, she is "believed to be English, in her twenties and already well-established with the family at Kensington Palace."

O.K., so, the "English" clue means that (William's erstwhile singing partner) Taylor Swift is out. Victoria Beckham's nearly 40. Cara Delevingne meets all the criteria (she and Prince Charles go way back), but we could see an argument for her not being the, uh, best influence on a toddler. Harry Styles just turned 20; maybe it's him!

Whoever you are, mystery twentysomething, we request of you: get Kate on Instagram! It would help her feel connected to the outside world, beyond the palace walls, and she no doubt could use a mindless way to distract herself when waiting in lines (actually, scratch that last part: Kate doesn't wait in lines, lines wait for Kate). You are our best hope to bring about Kate Middleton selfies, mystery nanny; you are our only hope.
